Sunny Scratch for a Cheery Coyote

A bushy-tailed coyote sits in soft grass, eyes squeezed shut in pure silliness as she scratches her ear with a big back paw. Her fluffy fur puffs around her face and tail, and both of her ears stand tall and perky. Every line of her grin says she feels fabulous and free.

The coyote's front paws press gently into the ground, keeping her steady while her back leg does all the wiggly work. You can almost hear the scratch-scratch as her sharp little claws get just the right spot. Her mouth curls in a happy smile, and her thick tail curves like a soft feather duster behind her.

Fun Fact!

Coyotes dig dens underground or enlarge burrows made by other animals like badgers.
