Pumpkin Patch Pals: Chipmunk’s Big Find

A chipmunk springs up behind a giant pumpkin with bright eyes and the biggest grin on his face. He hugs the round pumpkin with both paws, fluffy tail curled behind him and pointy ears perked as if he just made an amazing discovery. Twisty pumpkin vines and plump leaves crowd the ground, scattering little shapes around his feet.

A smooth sky opens up behind the chipmunk, patchy with soft mounds of earth. Every stripe on his back pops in bold, neat lines. He looks ready to chatter about his harvest, cheeks puffed wide and happy above his stubby little nose. This cheerful fellow brings his own bit of fall to the page.
