Peekaboo Weasel at the Burrow Door

A bright-eyed weasel pokes his nose out from a cozy burrow. His round paws press against the tunnel’s edge, ready to scamper or pounce. His whiskers stick out in every direction, almost tickling the page, while two dark eyes shine with mischief.

The circle of the burrow frames his curious face, making him look as if he’s playing hide and seek. Soft fur lines his ears and runs along his cheeks. He pauses for just a moment, waiting to see who else might be around in the tall grass outside.
