Curious Wildebeest With Wavy Mane

A young wildebeest stands with his head turned, looking out with a bright eye. His horns curve like two moons above his ears. A wavy beard hangs from his throat, and neat lines run down his shoulders. Slim legs end in small, sturdy hooves.

His tail ends in a dark tuft that swishes at the air. The smooth back and round belly give you wide spaces to fill with color. Bold stripes trace his ribs, showing where muscles stretch. He waits quietly, steady and calm, ready to share your crayons.

Fun Fact!

The name "wildebeest" comes from the Afrikaans language and means "wild beast."
