Happy Dangling Halloween Spider

A friendly spider drops straight down on a skinny thread, right in the middle of the page. His round belly and tiny head make him look brave and busy. Two bright eyes peek forward, and little fangs curl like a grin. Eight long legs bend at tidy joints, spreading out like a wiggly star.

The lines stay bold and roomy, easy for small hands to fill. Big spaces on his body invite stripes, spots, or a moonlit glow. Add a web above his thread, or pumpkins below to set a Halloween night. This calm crawler waits quietly for color and a sprinkle of spooky fun.

Fun Fact!

Bobbing for apples was once a British courtship ritual; the apple a person bit was thought to represent their future beloved.
