Wilbur the warthog wakes up with the sun shining down on the savanna. Today, he’s feeling curious and peeks out from behind some tall grasses, hoping to spot a new friend or find his favorite muddy puddle. Bring Wilbur to life by adding your favorite colors and imagining the warm African plains where he roams freely, ears flicking and nose twitching as he looks for tasty snacks.
Young male warthogs will leave their birth sounder when they are about 1 to 2 years old to live on their own or in bachelor groups.

Try using soft, overlapping strokes to create a fuzzy look for Wilbur’s fur. Use darker browns for the nose and lighter shades for the inside of the ears. Add a blue or green background for the savanna and experiment with patterns on the tusks or fur for extra fun.
