Wide-Eyed Fawn with Wiggly Ears

A young deer stands still with his big eyes wide open and his mouth pulled into a bumpy, nervous shape. His fluffy forehead sports a little tuft of fur that sticks up, and two giant ears angle outward as if he’s listening to every tiny sound in the forest.

Three round spots dot his back, standing out against his smooth side. He looks like he just heard a squirrel rustling in the bushes and isn’t quite sure what to do next. His long legs feel awkward and bunched up, while every bit of him says he’s ready to leap away.

Fun Fact!

Deer populations can grow rapidly in areas with ample food and few predators, sometimes leading to overBrowse issues.
