Big Horn Buddy in the Grasslands

A chunky rhinoceros steps forward, tilting her wide face right toward you. Heavy folds ripple along her thick neck. One great eye peeks from under a wrinkly, bumpy forehead. Those two enormous horns catch the light, curved and strong, ready for a friendly nose rub with a pal.

Her perky ears flick up and out, as if she just heard a funny sound on the breeze. Every wrinkle and scratch on her skin shows how sturdy she is. This rhino looks calm, almost curious, happy to stand in her wild home with not a worry in the world.

Fun Fact!

Many rhino sanctuaries have armed rangers who protect the rhinos 24 hours a day.
