Whiskers and Tusks by the Shore

This big walrus stretches out his flippers and lifts his head high. His face wrinkles up with sweet curiosity, and those long, sturdy tusks stick straight down past his whiskery lips. Every line along his chunky neck and belly tells a story of splashes and chilly naps.

He sits close to the ground, his strong body pressed against the icy shore. Squat and calm, with tiny eyes watching everything, this walrus looks like he just heard a funny joke. Kids can spot every flap, fold, and gentle bristle—the walrus invites everyone to bring him to life with color.

Fun Fact!

A walrus calf will often ride on its mother's back in the water to rest and stay safe.
