Mosaic Stride Wildebeest

A strong wildebeest steps into view. His curved horns hook out like two boomerangs that refuse to fly away. Sharp black lines split his coat into triangles and diamonds, a big puzzle ready for color. He dips his head and lifts one hoof, mid-step and busy.

Bold outlines show his square nose, pointy ears, and the short zigzag mane along his neck. Long legs cross in front as he trots, and his tail follows with a neat point. White space surrounds him, leaving room for sky or dust you can draw. He looks steady and brave, moving across the page with a calm, heavy thump.

Fun Fact!

Wildebeest need large, open spaces to live and migrate, so habitat loss from fencing and farming is a major threat.
