Mummy on the Move

A small mummy tiptoes across the page with one knee up and both hands stretching into a silly scare. Big round eyes peek through snug wrappings, watching where the bandaged foot will land. Long ribbon tails stream from the head and waist like windy scarves, swishing behind with every step.

The bandages crisscross the arms and legs, leaving tiny loops and flaps that flutter as the mummy moves. The mummy's mouth makes a little O, more surprised than spooky, as fingers curl like playful claws. Bold lines keep the pose clear and bouncy, perfect for little hands. The open background leaves room for a moon, stars, or a friendly bat to join the scene.

Fun Fact!

The Chinchorro people would sometimes mummify children and babies even before adults, and their techniques were very elaborate.
