Milly the Fast-Digging Mole Makes a Splash

A cheerful little mole pops up from the dirt, eyes wide and mouth open in the biggest grin. Her paws fling pebbles and clumps of earth as she races through her tunnel, looking like she just heard the funniest secret underground. Every tuft of fur and whisker seems to wiggle with excitement.

Behind Milly, speedy lines show just how fast she can dig. A scatter of round stones rolls away from her busy paws. She can barely keep her nose out of the soft soil, ready for new colors and muddy adventures.

Fun Fact!

The Shrew Mole is one of the smallest moles and looks a bit like a shrew, spending more time on the surface than other moles.
