Big Hippo vs the Feather Balance

A round-bellied hippopotamus sits carefully on one side of a wobbly scale, his wide eyes peeking out with a look of surprise. His toes grip the edge of the dish, and one tiny ear tilts to the side as he notices something funny: on the other end of the scale, just a single feather rests.
