Peeking Hippo at the Shady Riverbank

A big hippopotamus pops his head above the water, peering straight ahead with wide, curious eyes. His round face looks calm but a little silly, with big round nostrils and bouncy cheeks covered in tiny freckles. Water ripples gently around his head, and his ears poke up like little pancakes, listening for every splash.

Behind him, tall trees cluster along the riverbank, their leafy tops puffing out like broccoli. The water surrounds him, wavy lines showing that he's bobbing along gently. Grasses spike up at the shore, adding a wild jungle feel where the hippo likes to hide and cool off on a sunny day.
