Big Hippo by the Wiggly Riverbank

A big hippopotamus stands with chunky feet pressed gently into the squishy mud. His cheeks puff out and his little round ears stick up as he stares at the flowing water nearby, maybe thinking about his next splashy swim. Wrinkly skin folds around his legs and shoulders, showing just how strong and sturdy he is. Wavy lines shape the river around his toes, waiting for him to wiggle in.

Giant nostrils face forward, ready to wiggle and sniff in the breeze. The hippo’s eyes peek out just above his broad snout, looking a bit sleepy and friendly at the same time. Behind him, smooth river rocks curve and twist, making a cozy spot for his heavy belly to rest. You can almost hear him huff and puff as he gets ready to slip into his favorite watery home.
