The Thinking Horned Ogre

A big ogre turns his head to the left. One stubby horn sits on his bald forehead, and his pointy ear sticks out like a leaf. He squints under a heavy brow, lips tight, as if he is counting rocks. Faint wrinkles curve around his nose and cheek, showing a long day in the hills.

His chest takes up most of the page, strong and wide with smooth spaces made for bold crayon lines. Sharp creases mark his neck and shoulder, giving him a rugged look. He feels calm, not loud, just watching the world from the side. Color him mossy green, rocky gray, or any wild shade that makes him yours.

Fun Fact!

The modern, most famous ogre in pop culture is Shrek, from the animated movie series.
