Spotted Hyena and the Wiggly Water Mirror

This spotted hyena leans down for a drink, her nose just skimming the smooth surface of a watering hole. Her tongue sticks out, ready to lap up the cool water, while droopy grass and smooth stones surround her paws. Long, spiky fur runs down her back, and round black spots stand out along her sides. She pauses, not to pose, but because she spots a wobbly reflection staring right back at her!

In the water, her face stretches and bends as the ripples swirl around her tongue. Tiny droplets make gentle circles, while her big ears and scruffy neck fur are easy to spot in the mirrored picture below. Every line and dot gives this hyena plenty of space for bright, bold colors. She is ready for a splash of brightness that only busy little hands can bring.
