Joey’s Wild Grassland Hideout

A tall mama kangaroo stands in the grass with her little joey peeking out from her pouch. She holds her head high, ears perky, one front paw gently guarding her baby. The joey’s nose pokes out, eyes wide and curious, safe and snug as a storm rolls in.

Big puffy clouds swirl across the sky, and a flash of lightning zigzags down behind them. Giggling tufts of grass pop up from the ground, while a few sturdy trees huddle together in the distant outback. Every line from the kangaroo’s strong tail to her twitchy whiskers waits for bright, bouncy colors.

Fun Fact!

A tree kangaroo has shorter hind legs and longer, curved claws perfect for gripping branches.
