Grandma's Mighty Karate Chop

Grandma wears a neat karate gi with a black belt tied tight. Her round glasses stay steady and her hair sits in a high bun. She chops straight down with her hand, and the wooden boards burst apart with bold action lines. A strong fist presses to her hip as she leans in with power.

Two tall stands hold the stack as the boards snap into pieces. Splinters fly at sharp angles like crunchy crackers breaking. Her mouth opens in a shout and her eyes look brave and focused. One foot steps forward so she stays balanced and ready for her next move.

Fun Fact!

Research indicates that a strong grandparent-grandchild relationship is associated with fewer depressive symptoms in both generations.
