Lava Crater Dragon Roars

A big dragon crouches on the rim of a cracked volcano. She opens her mouth wide, showing shiny teeth and a drippy chin. Her scales stack like tiny stone plates from nose to tail. Two puffs of steam float up behind her, soft and swirly.

She spreads bony wings with thin panels, and her claws hug the hot rock. Strings of lava slide from her toes like warm syrup. Horns sweep back, tail curls, and her bright eye watches the world. The ground under her splits with long lines, as if the mountain just yawned.
