Grandpa in the Garden of Leaves

Grandpa peeks out from a forest of leaves. His eyes look kind and a little sleepy, and lines ripple across his cheeks like tree bark. Big flowers bloom by his ears, while tiny sprigs curl around his hair like a crown.

Every petal and leaf makes a little path to color. The wrinkly beard falls in gentle stripes, and his mouth rests in a quiet, thoughtful line. The garden hugs him close, as if the plants and Grandpa share stories together.

Fun Fact!

The iconic lava lamp was invented in 1963 by a British accountant named Edward Craven Walker.
