Big-Eyed Little Wildebeest

A baby wildebeest stands front and center, eyes round as marbles and full of sparkle. His curved horns swoop like tiny moons above a zigzag stripe on his forehead. Soft ears peek out, and his short legs plant like sturdy blocks.

A shaggy chin beard hangs under his wide muzzle, and a tiny tail ends in a fluffy tuft. He leans a little forward, as if ready to trot, nose pointed ahead. Bold lines shape every part, from the chunky hooves to the smooth horns. Those bright eyes beg for color and a name.

Fun Fact!

A mother wildebeest is pregnant for about 8.5 months before her calf is born.
