Ogre Punches the Castle Door

A big ogre boy stomps up to a round-top castle door. He clenches his teeth and swings his huge fist. Wood bursts into starry splinters where he hits the boards. The iron ring knocker wobbles as the stone arch shakes.

He wears a thick belt and a ragged skirt that swishes at his knees. Muscles bulge in his arms, and his toes grip the ground for a mighty whack. Broken chips sprinkle the floor, and the door planks show long cracks and nails. The scene uses bold lines and wide spaces that beg for bright, brave colors.

Fun Fact!

The "Ogre Mage" in Dungeons & Dragons is an intelligent, blue-skinned, magical ogre inspired by the Japanese Oni.
