The Picnic Surprise: Opossum’s Silly Trick

Sunny grass stretches under a checkered picnic blanket with a tasty sandwich waiting on top. Right in the middle, an opossum flops flat on his back, tongue poking out and paws stuck in the air! His big round belly and long striped tail make him easy to spot, and his silly pose makes everyone stop and stare.

A rabbit freezes by the basket, eyes wide as if he just spotted a magic trick. Next to him, a chubby squirrel clutches her acorn in shock, while a crow flaps his wings with squawking surprise. Cloud puffs drift over their woodland get-together, while two leaves flutter onto the soft grass. The whole animal gang looks completely baffled by the opossum’s dramatic “playing possum” routine.
