Leafy Kangaroo in the Sun

A kangaroo sits tall and alert, neck stretched and ears perked to the sky. Its shiny black eye looks out with quiet, curious focus, as if he's listening for the sound of the wind or a friend bouncing nearby. Each part of his body is covered in swirling leaf shapes and delicate lines, which march up his strong neck, over his soft cheeks, and all the way to the tips of his giant ears.

These leafy patterns twist and curl, making the kangaroo look as if he's wrapped in an enchanted coat made from the bush itself. Gentle spirals fill his rump and legs, while bolder leaves run down his back and up his long ear. Between the patterns, smooth spaces appear, ready for splashes of color. He sits calm and peaceful—like he’s waiting by a eucalyptus tree on a warm afternoon.
