Baboon With a Blocky Banana Snack

A furry baboon sits with a serious little face, eyebrows set low across his square forehead. Thick lines zigzag around his puffy mane, making his head look huge and fluffy. His hands, shaped with chunky blocks, curl around a snack that’s almost as square as his nose. The baboon doesn’t smile, but he looks very busy, holding tight to his favorite treat.

You can see the playful, pixel shapes on his arms and his rounded belly, all drawn with bold black lines. Every edge looks like it was built out of toy bricks instead of fur. The baboon’s eyes stare straight ahead, watching carefully as he enjoys every bite. In this picture, he isn’t swinging or climbing—he’s having a quiet, munchy moment.

Fun Fact!

A mother baboon carries her young infant clinging to her belly fur.
