Coloring Tips

1. 1 Shade each coil a little darker on one edge to make the body look round.
2. 2 Use two blues for the water: dark by the rocks, lighter farther out.
3. 3 Add dots or stripes along the rings to create shiny scales.
4. 4 Color cracks in the rock with gray, then blend in sandy beige for highlights.
