Sleepy Walrus Under Falling Snowflakes

A big walrus settles into the chilly snow with its eyes shut, looking peaceful and full. Giant whiskers droop from his muzzle, and two strong tusks point to the ground. Tiny snowballs float and swirl above his back, dotting the sky with frosty circles.

The walrus curls his flippers close. His thick, wrinkly skin gathers in folds, cozy against the cold. Small spots and bumpy lines cover his back and chin, showing off every lump and wrinkle that helps him stay warm by the sea.

Fun Fact!

A walrus has four flippers; it can rotate its hind flippers forward to walk on all fours on land or ice, similar to a sea lion.
