Nutty Hideaway in the Oak Tree

A bushy-tailed squirrel pops her head out from a round hole in the thick trunk of an old tree, paws resting on a treasure pile of nuts. Her bright eyes sparkle with mischief and her little teeth show as she grins. Around her, smooth acorns and rough walnuts fill every space in her cozy hollow, ready for a big winter feast.

Rings of bark wrap tight around the opening, making her secret home snug and safe. Outside the hollow, wavy lines cover the tree’s sturdy bark with twists and turns. The squirrel looks delighted with her collection, ears perked and whiskers twitching, as if she just discovered the best prize in the forest.
