Sunbeam Walrus on the Shore

A plump walrus lounges on a chilly shore, his big flippers tucked beneath his round body. Walruses have a very thick layer of blubber, or fat, under their skin that can be up to 6 inches (15 cm) thick, which keeps them warm in the icy Arctic water.
