Turkey Pilot and the Pumpkin Balloon

High above the hills, a cheerful turkey rides in a little woven basket, one wing lifted like he is waving hello. A giant pumpkin balloon, topped with a leafy stem cap, carries him through a sky of puffy clouds. His round eyes shine with excitement, and his tail feathers fan out in tidy scallops. Strong ropes stretch from the basket to the pumpkin, steady and straight.

Down on the ground, maple leaves scatter across a wide, curved meadow. Trees with fluffy tops dot the striped fields, and small tufts of grass peek up between the leaves. The basket shows crisscross squares that invite tiny strokes of color, while the balloon offers big, smooth spaces. Fill the scene with warm fall shades as this brave turkey pilot floats toward Thanksgiving.
