Forest Tangles and the Watchful Dragon

A forest dragon slips her narrow head through a wall of twisty vines. Her round eye peeks out from a mask of layered scales. Two sharp horns poke forward, and a little tongue curls near her long snout. Leaves sprout along the vines as they wiggle and cross like spaghetti.

Her neck bends in a soft S, with scales stacked like tiny shields. Bold lines make lots of small places to color. Vines weave over and under her, turning the page into a leafy maze. She waits, calm and curious, hidden right in the middle.

Fun Fact!

Chinese dragons, called 'Long', are seen as powerful, wise, and benevolent (good) creatures.
