The Hedgehog with the Spiky Surprise

A little hedgehog stands on his strong back paws, nose twitching and tiny claws curled beneath him. Sharp, zigzag spikes shoot out in every direction from the top of his round head down to his back, making him look like a brave defender of his hiding place. His round eyes shine with determination and his mouth turns down in a serious little frown, as if he is ready to protect his patch of grass from any nosey neighbor.

His small ears perk up, listening for the giggle of another animal hiding close by. Strong, stubby feet keep him steady, while his prickly quills seem to wiggle with excitement. This hedgehog may look serious, but he is full of fun—and ready for a splash of bright and wild color.
