Fun Fact!
This "birth-quake" is a survival strategy for wildebeest; with so many calves born at once, predators can't possibly eat them all.
Image Details
Coloring page of a wildebeest (gnu) standing on a rocky hill with large curved horns, shaggy mane, striped shoulder hair, and a sky full of puffy clouds; African wildlife line art.
Coloring Tips
- 1 Use tan for his coat, then add short dashes of darker brown along the stripes to make the fur look shaggy.
- 2 Shade the horns with gray at the base and lighter gray at the tips for a smooth curve.
- 3 Mix sandy yellows and browns on the rocks; leave thin white lines to show cracks.
- 4 Color the sky light blue and brush a soft gray along cloud bottoms for puffy depth.
