Quick Paws on the Meadow Trail

A shaggy-necked wolf leaps down a slope, jaws open and eyes focused. His tail flicks high, and his strong front paws reach forward. Spiky fur frames his head, and quick lines around his legs show how fast he moves.

Ahead, a small rabbit springs over the hill with long ears straight up. Her back legs stretch like tiny springs while she points her nose toward the grass. Clumps of blades dot the ground, and slanted lines mark the hill as it dips. Wide open space invites a bright sky or a faraway forest.

Fun Fact!

Wolves are very territorial and will defend their home range from other wolf packs.
