Wombat on the Big Rock

A round-bellied wombat stands on a chunky boulder. His shiny button nose points ahead, and whiskers fan out like little sticks. He plants his sturdy paws on the rock, claws curved and ready for digging.

Cracks crisscross the stone, and small grass tufts poke up at the sides. The wombat's bright eyes look calm and curious, as if he hears a soft rustle nearby. Big white space around him leaves room to add sky, pebbles, or a tiny bird with your crayons.

Fun Fact!

A mother wombat is a very caring parent and will fiercely protect her joey from danger.
